A light-colored peignoir is difficult to wash and clean, stains of paint and other cosmetic products usually remain on it, in this case, disposable peignoirs that do not need to be smeared with hair dye are more suitable, since they are used only for one client and once.
Many confuse a peignoir with an apron. Both the petticoat and the apron are used in the hairdressing salon, but the main difference is that the petticoat is intended for the customer, while the apron is worn by the hairdresser. The function of both an apron and a petticoat is the same, designed to protect a person from liquids and soiling. Barber aprons have the same characteristics: they are waterproof, can be fastened or tied, and are usually dark in color. The apron additionally has several pockets, which are necessary for hairdressing accessories and tools. Aprons can be of various lengths, and disposable aprons made of polyethylene are also popular on the market.
