Visible facial veins are a problem that affects many people. This skin is characterized by red spots. These include, but are not limited to, "spider veins" around the nose or sudden redness of the cheeks. In aesthetic medicine, more and more procedures are performed specifically to close dilated capillaries - thanks to the latest technologies, this method is becoming more and more effective.
Vascular skin procedures are currently one of the most popular procedures performed in aesthetic medicine offices.
What exactly are dilated capillaries?
Telangiectasias (couperosa). Permanently dilated small blood vessels can involve all the arterioles, veins and capillaries under the skin. There are primary (spontaneous) and secondary telangiectasias.
Venectasia
Dilated small veins that appear mainly on the lower limbs (thighs, ankles, metatarsals), which become bluish in color.Primary telangiectasia
Commonly associated with congenital syndromes or occurring at certain times of life, e.g. during pregnancy or in the elderly.Secondary telangiectasia
Occurs due to external factors (wind, temperature fluctuations, sunlight), systemic diseases (hypertension) or skin diseases (rosacea). The most common changes in facial blood vessels:
- Hemangioma - "spider"
- Telangiectasia - threads
- Pink, erythema
- Ruby Points :
Thermcell works on the principle of thermolysis. Thermolysis is literally the decomposition of a chemical compound when exposed to a higher temperature. This method is perfect for straightening dilated capillaries. High-frequency current flow through the capillary coagulates the hemoglobin and permanently destroys the capillary. This method is fast, less painful and most importantly - very effective.
Three programs
The ThermCell device operates in three modes: electrolysis, thermolysis and mixed. In each of the modes, the parameters are set individually, taking into account the needs. This method is quick, bloodless, less painful and, above all, very effective.
1Medika Thermcell - thermolysis
A treatment that uses high-frequency, low-intensity alternating current. Thermolysis is literally the breakdown of a chemical compound when exposed to a higher temperature. This method is perfect for straightening dilated capillaries.2Medika thermocouple - electrolysis
Treatment using direct current (galvanic) in this process changes the chemical structure of the material, which occurs when it is exposed to an external electrical voltage. Electrolysis causes the shearing of proteins in tissues, which translates into a healing effect.3Medika Thermcell - mixed
A method that uses both direct and alternating current.Thermocouple to close the veins:
- Accuracy and safety - the device works only on the treated area, the device does not damage the surrounding tissues
- Full control of pulse intensity
- Non invasive
- Disposable needles
- Operating modes: continuous or pulsed
Contraindications for vascular closure procedure:
- pregnancy
- skin cancer
- strong tan
- autoimmune diseases - lupus, scleroderma
- active herpes
- blood clotting disorders
- diabetes
- bacterial and viral skin inflammatory diseases
Introducing the operation of the ThermCell Medika deviceThe treatment process is extremely simple - the operating mode (thermolysis, electrolysis, mixed) and the corresponding operating parameters can be selected from the intuitive menu level on the screen.
How to perform the procedure?
- Before starting the procedure, a health questionnaire should be completed with the patient, informing about the possible effects and complications of the treatment. Make sure that the skin is not too tanned and that the NSAID patient is not taking pain relievers (ibuprofren, ketonol, naproxen). Do not use anesthetics or retinols during the procedure.
- from the prepared device, connect the power supply, the passive electrode (rubber paddle), the leg joint, the treatment head and the ballet needle.
- The skin should be cleaned before the procedure
- Before starting work, the treatment area must be disinfected.
- We turn on the device and the treatment program (thermolysis / electrolysis / mixed)
- The duration of the procedure depends on the events and lasts from several to ten minutes. We do not pierce the skin with a needle - we work on the surface.
