  • APIS Glyco terApis Glycolic acid 35% pH 2.0, 30ml

    Code: 108589
  • The tool is intended for facial care procedures, chemical peeling of the skin.

Glycolic acid 35% from the PAIS "Glyco terApis" cosmetic line is recommended for use on all skin types. A 35% exfoliating preparation with a pH of 2.0 has a wide spectrum of action: removes skin blemishes, smooths acne scars, supports derma renewal, smoothes and moisturizes the skin. Gives the skin a healthy color and glow.

Active ingredients: glycolic acid - obtained from sugar cane. Of all AHA acids, glycolic acid is the most active, as it has the simplest and lowest molecular weight structure, thanks to which the acid easily and deeply penetrates the skin. Glycolic acid has strong skin exfoliation properties (exfoliation - (ex- + Latin folium - leaf; sch. exfoliation) -med. separation of dead tissue in large patches).

    Usage:

Apply a few drops on a clean, cleansed and dried facial skin, avoiding the skin areas around the eyes, lips and nose (corners of the nose), leave for 2-4 minutes. (taking into account the reaction of the skin in the procedure cycle, this time can be extended), then 1-2 min. apply neutralizing gel, gently massage. and rinse with cool water.

About 6-12 hours after the procedure. slight reddening, stretching and short-term burning of the skin may occur. A few days after the procedure, gentle peeling of the epidermis occurs (ie, dead, dead facial skin is removed, the skin regeneration process takes place).

    After exfoliation with glycolic acid

It is recommended to combine glycolic acid exfoliation with skin moisturizing or nourishing therapy. During severe peeling (exfoliation), it is recommended to use products that nourish or rejuvenate the skin. At that time, the means are absorbed much better.

After treatment with glycolic acid, it is recommended to take extra gentle care of the skin. It is important to protect the skin from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Therefore, it is recommended to use sunscreen before every trip outside, regardless of the season. Due to possible sun irritation, it is worth choosing alkaline facial cleansing in the cold season.

Glycolic acid skin cleansing is recommended mainly for skin pigmentation problems, but also for persistent (juvenile) acne. The procedures are not suitable for those suffering from purulent skin lesions or atopic dermatitis.

ATTENTION! After consultation with the cosmetologist, the appropriate treatment intensity is selected (15, 30 or 50% glycolic acid concentration). A series of glycolic acid treatments can be continued later, using a light concentration of 15% 3-5 times a year to maintain the effect of the initial therapy.

ATTENTION! Product for professional use only. For use in beauty salons and aesthetic medicine offices. Before use, read the instructions for use attached to the package. Do not touch the surface of the skin with the dropper tip to maintain hygiene and sterility.
